Rainbows & Brownies
It will be nearly a year since the 1st Worleston Brownies and Rainbows were established. In order to celebrate this amazing achievement we have written this brief article for the Cross Country Parish Magazine.
We meet weekly on a Monday night from 5.30 – 6.30 (Rainbows) and 6.45 - 7.45 (Brownies) at Worleston village Hall during term time unless we have other adventures planned, for example a visit to Hobby Craft and a walk around Nantwich in working towards our road safety badge. We now have eleven very enthusiastic Brownies all of whom live locally who meet every week and now form our happy and fun Brownie Unit.
We have been supported as a brand new unit by Worleston Village Hall Committee, St Oswald’s School, the Worleston and District and Church Minshull Parish Councils, Cheshire Youth United, Acton United Charities and our local Girlguiding Units.
So on behalf of all the girls we would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU for all the support that we have had from our local community.
We have been having lots of fun so far and the girls have been growing in confidence as they learn to do new and interesting things. If any girls are interested in joining or parents and older siblings are interested in becoming leaders or occasional helpers they can express an interest directly on the Girl Guiding website or they can contact any of the Rainbow and Brownie leaders as below:
