We welcome players of all ages and abilities to this very friendly welcoming group. The table tennis group was started in October 2015 and has been going really well with new members joining throughout the year. |

Your Local Table Tennis Club at Worleston Village Hall
Did you know that table tennis is held at the village hall every Thursday evening and we always welcome new players? Worleston Table Tennis Club and home of the Worleston Woodpecker’s league team are looking for new members. The club formed three years ago and we play on Thursday evenings throughout the year in Worleston from 6:30-8:30pm. We have a wide range of ages and abilities from 7-70s and experience from absolute beginners to league standard. We are a very friendly club and there is plenty of opportunity to play a game or play in doubles. All equipment is provided. For the last two years, we have entered a team in the Crewe Table Tennis league; the first year, we were runners-up, and were awarded the best newcomers trophy, and this year, the Worleston Woodpeckers were division three champions. The club plays at Worleston Village Hall, a modern, air-conditioned facility with plenty of free parking with up to five tables, refreshments and nibbles are included in the £4.50 session price. If you want some great exercise, a fun environment, good company, to meet new friends and either a lazy, non-competitive game or league standard competition, why not give us a try? Here’s what our players say: “I joined the table tennis club as I thought it would be a fairly painless way to get a bit of exercise and to make some new friends.
